Kemer: It definitely started at a super young age. Did you always expect to be in some kind of creative role growing up, or was it something you kind of fell into later on? Anything that has a fabric-like or soft geometry: sails, ropes, chains, tubes and plants, sometimes that’s character effects in a bubble. So we actually see a lot more than just characters’ clothing and stuff.

My view on character effects is I want to touch everything we want to do as much as we can.

But I think that might be a little bit misleading. We do some visual effects work, and a lot more of that. And we’re responsible for all the hair and clothing simulation of digital characters on everything from games to episodic and animation.
